This week was good. The best was that we had a
baptism! =) We were supposed to have two but unfortunately one of their parents
were against it and won’t let her get baptized. I wasn’t the missionary who
taught them but I was able to go to the lesson ever once in
a while to help explain something the sisters couldn’t. (the sisters
are both very new to the mission and their Japanese still isn’t the best)
but ya it was fun!
We are teaching quite a few less active members. It is
going good. One is doing really well and has begun to pray and read the Book of
Mormon everyday so ya that is way good. How is your missionary work going
there? We
found a very strong investigator who is actually a members friend. He said that
he wants to be like this friend. We link a lot of his attributes back to the
teaching of Christ and he said. One day I want to be like that. Maybe going to church
is the best way =) and he actually came to church and loved it so looking
forward to that. Also this week Elder Aoyagi of the 70 (from Japan) came and
spoke to us. It was a really good conference and I received a lot of answers of
prayers and how to help some investigators. He talked the whole time in Japanese
so that was fun. He was really easy to
understand. Except all my notes are in Japanese so that s kinda interesting .
But yep good week.
